Traditional Japanese home and delicious meals in the classical Lake Shojiko Village on the shores of Mt Fuji.

The large home overlooking the lake-side village has been completely restored to its original grandeur with high ceilings, hand-hewn beams and newly added cedar bathroom and kitchen sun deck. Once a silk village along a main trade route, the peaceful location is perfect for family weekends or private getaways. Ideal for seminars, yoga workshops, etc.

Traditional Wa Shoku meals are catered by the 3 generation family run Kotobuki Restaurant in the village, and guest can enjoy grilling food on the irori fireplace and heating atsukan of sake.  Home includes a modern kitchen for guests to use as well.

Nightly family rental rates start at 25,000 yen.

Meals are available for 2,500 to 6,500 yen per person.

Events rate for groups over 8 people is 30,000 yen, plus  optional futon and sheet rental (1500 yen per person)
